Experian Data Office is looking for a Operational Data Manager to help ensure the governance, quality, and operational readiness of enterprise data assets is of the highest possible standard.

You will help deliver strategic programmes, transformation programmes, and business-as-usual operations through data management practices, tooling oversight, and partner engagement.

This is an individual contributor position with a hybrid work pattern, Nottingham based role reporting to Head of Operational Data Governance.

Working within the Operational Data Governance team, key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Developing and maintaining critical data governance MI and reporting relating to a range of data assets across the width of the UK&I business
  • Engage with metric owners to lead improvements and communicate performance expectations
  • Identifying and highlighting opportunities to improve data governance and alignment across data repositories, applications and products
  • Providing consultancy support to a range of internal stakeholders to ensure robust data management and governance activities are followed and maintained
  • Supporting transformation programmes for enterprise data management across client, product and HR domains
  • Understanding and deploying organic data quality tooling such as Aperture, into the governance arena
  • Identify and lead data governance improvement initiatives and projects as may be required
  • Act as a champion for robust and compliant data governance across the UK&I business

Experience and Skills

  • Data Management experience
  • Data Governance knowledge, regulatory knowledge i.e. GDPR
  • Meta-data analysis
  • Data consultancy & project management experience.
