AI Coding Subject Matter Expert

We are looking for an AI Coding Subject Matter Expert to join Experian’s Global Assurance Technology & Innovation Team. In this role, you will act as a technical leader focused on designing, building, and deploying modern AI-enabled web applications and agentic solutions that accelerate innovation, improve engineering productivity, and support business transformation.

You will work hands-on across the full development lifecycle, combining expertise in React applications, AI-assisted development, and cloud-native architectures on AWS. Partnering closely with product, design, and engineering teams, you will translate ideas into scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions, helping shape how AI is applied across the organization.

🛠️ Your key responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in AI-enabled software development, driving rapid prototyping through to production-ready solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy modern React single-page applications (SPA), ensuring scalable, intuitive, and high-performing user experiences.
• Translate Figma designs and product concepts into fully functional, production-quality applications.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, including backend services, integrations, and deployment pipelines.
• Create and operationalize AI agents and agentic workflows to automate business and technology processes.
• Develop and integrate MCP servers to enable extensible AI tooling, orchestration, and contextual interactions.
• Design, build, and secure RESTful APIs, integrating with enterprise systems and third-party services.
• Evaluate emerging AI coding tools, frameworks, and patterns, recommending practical adoption strategies.
• Drive solutions from proof-of-concept through production hardening, including testing, observability, documentation, and support readiness.
• Partner with stakeholders across innovation, product, assurance, and engineering to identify high-impact opportunities for AI applications.
• Establish and promote best practices in code quality, reusable components, application security, and deployment reliability.
• Mentor developers and cross-functional teams on AI-assisted development, architecture patterns, and implementation approaches.

🎯 What we expect from you

• Strong experience building and deploying modern web applications in enterprise or innovation environments.
• Deep expertise in React and modern front-end development for single-page applications.
• Hands-on experience translating design systems (e.g., Figma) into functional applications.
• Solid experience with AWS and cloud-native application architecture, including deployment and scaling.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AI agents and agentic workflows using modern frameworks.
• Experience integrating or building MCP servers and enabling tool-based AI interactions.
• Strong background in API development and integration, including authentication, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, along with modern development frameworks and tooling.
• Good understanding of software architecture, secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and production deployment.
• Ability to work across UX, front-end engineering, cloud architecture, and AI workflow design.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to move from concept to deployed solution.

⭐ Nice to have

• Experience in innovation labs, rapid prototyping environments, or emerging technology teams.
• Familiarity with AI patterns such as RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), workflow orchestration, tool usage, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Experience with serverless architectures, containers, and microservices on AWS.
• Exposure to governance, risk, compliance, or assurance-related technology initiatives.
• Experience building reusable frameworks, accelerators, or developer platforms for AI-enabled solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise authentication and integration approaches.
• Experience working in large, global, and matrixed organizations.
