Senior Specialist Consultant Billing

What you’ll be doing

·         Design end‑to‑end solutions for complex billing implementations across enterprise billing/finance platforms.

·         Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear, implementable solution designs.

·         Partner with product owners, engineers, and operations to shape feasible delivery options.

·         Produce high‑quality functional and technical design artefacts for medium to large initiatives.

·         Support impact analysis, estimation, and solution trade‑offs during planning and delivery.

·         Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, data standards, and billing controls.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

·         Own solution design for assigned billing domains, services, or client migrations.

·         Lead design workshops and clarify requirements across business and technical teams.

·         Define system interactions, data flows, controls, and non‑functional requirements.

·         Guide development/implementation teams during build, test, and deployment to ensure design fidelity.

·         Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints early, proposing pragmatic mitigations.

·         Contribute to standard patterns and reusable approaches across billing solutions.

• Proven experience designing technical solutions for complex usage-based billing or financial systems.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end billing lifecycles, including pricing, invoicing, and adjustments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technology, finance, and third‑party vendors
• Nice to have: experience with enterprise or SaaS billing platforms (e.g. Aria, Zuora, Salesforce Billing).
• Nice to have: familiarity with Oracle‑based technology stacks, including PL/SQL and database‑driven solutions.
• Nice to have: exposure to low‑code tools such as Oracle APEX supporting billing or operational processes.
