Experian Global Security Office is looking for a Senior Security Partner to embody and enact the practical daily requirements of the Experian Global Information Security Program by serving as an advisor to region's functional leaders. You will engage with the members of the region's senior leadership team(s) to advise on the intersection of priorities and important security risks.

You will promote security to the region, but more importantly, act as the voice of the BU with Experian's Global Security Office (EGSO). You will build an ongoing partnership with key departments to deploy technologies in a secure manner, mitigate risks across projects and programmes and provide strategic support to the EMAP RISO.

Whilst you will be sole contributor you will mentor others in this position.

This is a Hybrid, London-based role reporting to the Regional Head of Information Security, EMEA & APAC, RISO.

Important Responsibilities:-

  • Foster trusted executive relationships while dealing with members of the region's management team. Participate in project planning process to ensure that appropriate levels of security oversight exist
  • Advocate for the region by sharing its specific threats, requirements, and insights with the EGSO Leadership and other SPs. This sharing ensures that a department-specific perspective exists across the EGSO towers, including Technology and Innovation (T&I) and the security wider organization.
  • Support BU-level strategic decision-making, product development, system implementations, and the change management associated with the use of new security processes.
  • Monitor information security trends internal and external to the business and keep business-facing leadership informed about information security-related incidents [Threat Informed Defense Approach].
  • Measure and communicate risk to BU leadership concerning BU-specific goals, projects, and changes (people, process, technology).
  • Translate how department-specific risks factor into firmwide risks at senior-level, e.g., Leadership Security Forum (LSF)
  • Work with EGSO governance functions on educating BU leadership on prospective changes to relevant mandates, laws, and regulations. Uncover any gaps that may exist.
  • Determine any department-specific requirements that may exist due to geography, region, data or vertical and how those differ from or overlap with firmwide or departmental mandates.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in the information security field with including Audit, M&A divestments project security assessments and leading regional security forums with a multiple market focus.
  • IT background with experience working with Cloud-based environments, security technologies (WAF, Encryption, Access Control) and vulnerability management.
  • Experience presenting to a range of audiences including complex data presentations with senior partners including C-Suite.
  • Experience Interpreting and monitoring security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and regionally specific mandates, laws, and regulations.
  • Experience researching and providing the right guidance and find possible solutions to complex security issues, communicating these issues and managing partner expectations / concerns.
  • Relevant Certifications such as:-
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
    • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
