The Product Operations Director plays a critical role in enabling the Product Management organization to operate efficiently, consistently, and with high quality across the entire product lifecycle. You will establish and maintain the processes, data, tools, and governance frameworks that allow product managers to execute effectively from ideation through launch and market adoption. The Product Operations Director partners closely with product managers, engineering, marketing, sales, finance, and customer support to ensure product planning, development, and go-to-market activities are coordinated, data-driven, and scalable. You will report to our CPO. This is a remote position.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • Lead the development and evolution of standardized product management processes, frameworks, and operating models.
  • Guide product planning and portfolio governance across teams, ensuring consistent inputs, criteria, and visibility for decision‑making.
  • Oversee operational execution rhythms across the product lifecycle, ensuring key deliverables, cross‑functional agreement, and launch readiness.
  • Manage product management tools and data systems, ensuring structured usage, reliable reporting, and actionable insights for product leadership.
  • Establish and maintain dashboards and metrics that track roadmap progress, product performance, and operational health.
  • Be a central coordination point between Product and cross‑functional partners to ensure smooth execution and communication.
  • Guide post‑launch evaluations and continuous improvement efforts to enhance future releases and operational effectiveness.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA/advanced degree preferred).
  • 8–12+ years in product ops/PM/PMO/business ops in product‑centric organizations.
  • 5+ years operating at scale in Product Ops, Product PMO, or portfolio governance.
  • Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end product lifecycle in Agile environments.
  • Experience implementing and scaling product management frameworks, operating models, and tooling.
  • Experience translating operational/product data into executive‑ready insights and recommendations.
  • Experience leading portfolio planning and release governance (OKRs, capacity/prioritization, stage‑gates, cross‑functional readiness).
  • Experience with tooling administration/integrations and product ops dashboards (Jira/Aha!/Confluence/Asana; integration to BI; delivery/flow metrics).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
