Experian India is looking for a Product Engineer to join its Credit Bureau Technology team. The candidate would possess a strong analytical mind, be a technical and creative thinker, have a strong aptitude for problem solving, and have zero tolerance for inefficiencies in product development & deliveries. The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, along with the fervent desire to continuously learn about different products and technologies. Suggesting and driving forward infrastructure and tooling improvements that enable the business to confidently operate at pace. Individual will also be responsible for ensuring customer successes by providing necessary support to business-critical applications.
You will be a member of a team collaborating and working together towards technology transformation goals of Indian Credit Bureau Technology team. The Indian Credit Bureau team is responsible for conceptualization, design, development and support of all the bureau technology products.

What you’ll be doing (Job responsibilities for this role)

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems using AWS services.
  • Implement data processing solutions using PySpark and Python.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources and platforms.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Experience and Skills

What you’ll need to bring along (Your prior experience & Expertise)

  • 8 – 10 Years of total work experience
  • Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, and EMR.
  • Proficiency in PySpark for large-scale data processing.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Java.
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications (Skills we are looking for)

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
  • Certification in AWS or related technologies.
