Data Science Intern

Reporting into Lead ML Engineer you will analyze large datasets and Apply machine learning, data mining, and statistical technique. The duration of the internship 12 months.

What you'll do:

• Design efficient data structures and storage systems.
• Develop data-driven models to measure data value.
• Conduct Return on investment analysis and present model processes and results.
• Collaborate to develop best practices for using data.
• Manage independent assignments, influence project outcomes.
• Build stakeholder relationships by understanding their requirements and goals.
• Share knowledge with team members and participate in the analytics community.

What you'll bring:

• Up to year of experience in the Data Science field.
• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or similar.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of probability, statistical inference, optimization algorithms.
• Apply analytical techniques, such as regression analysis, ML, AI, and deep learning.
• Experience with model cross-validation techniques.
• Familiarity with statistical significance tests and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Write code in Python.
• Any experience with SparkSQL and data visualization tools.
• Understand modern big data technologies, including the Apache family (Hadoop, Spark), database technologies and natural language processing tools.
