At Experian, the Controls Implementation Manager is a pivotal role within our Group Risk Control & Testing organisation. This position is crucial for driving transformation, enhancing performance, and advancing risk maturity across our first and second lines of defence. By implementing critical controls and ensuring the sustainability of our controls program, you will help shape the future of our controls organisation.

This is a hybrid role based in our Nottingham or London office reporting into our Senior Controls and Implementation Manager. It involves a mix of on-site and remote days on a weekly basis with office presence.

Work that matters - What you'll do

  • Design and implement control processes for M&A activities to mitigate risks.
  • Guide integration leads and teams in M&A controls implementation.
  • Plan and track progress, preparing reports on outcomes.
  • Identify and improve processes to enhance control effectiveness.
  • Promote controls implementation in assigned regions, ensuring execution.
  • Partner with control owners to support documentation and assessment.
  • Provide oversight and support to embed activities.
  • Develop control goals and support policy owners.
  • Implement risk and control improvement plans with leaders.
  • Coach teams on best practices.
  • Analyse risks and controls for quality and completeness.
  • Identify trends and develop recommendations.
