At Experian Australia/New Zealand following a recent acquisition we are looking to establish a new role of Contract Manager reporting into the Head of Commercial Contracting & Bid Management.

The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for leading an internal twelve-month project, focused on consolidation of contract terms following the acquisition, engaging widely with internal stakeholders and establishing a transition plan to move clients to our new contract terms. This role will sit alongside and collaborate with the combined Experian Legal team, who provide specialist legal advice on the new consolidated contracting terms.

This role is for an initial contract period from August 2025- 30 September 2026, with potential future permanent opportunity.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Establishing and leading an internal project for the transition arrangements for client contracts to new terms
  • Assisting product and legal teams to prepare new consolidated contract templates.
  • Prioritising specific client contracts for transition to new consolidated terms
  • Ensuring that contracts are transitioned, consistent with Experian policies as set out in the Legal "play book" and any exceptions are escalated for approval at the appropriate level
  • Referring matters internally to the Experian Legal team, where client negotiations require.
  • Supporting and providing advice on the practical implementation contract automation for specific cohorts of clients.

Experience and Skills

More about you

  • 10 years of experience and familiarity with discussing and negotiating data and technology related contract and commercial agreements.
  • 10 years of experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts ideally including data and technology related agreements.
  • These roles are suitable for people without a legal qualification as you will be working alongside qualified lawyers.
  • As this is a new role within Experian A/NZ, we are looking for people with varying levels of experience.
