Job description

 

The Experian Consumer Services (ECS) Business Governance team is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Governance and Risk Analyst to join our team. You will help support key processes related to data governance, AI policy and review, data privacy, and governance controls. The ideal candidate possesses data and technical acumen, strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, organizational and process management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across various departments. You will report to a leader on the Business Governance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Administration & Management: Support management and administration of select processes, functions, and approval flows involving data requests, data hygiene, documentation, data privacy, data processing activity, and AI.
  • Controls & Assessments: Support management of compliance & business controls inventory and the overall controls process, and well as management of assessments related to business governance and risk management.
  • Process Analysis: Examine business processes as they relate to business governance to identify risks and inefficiencies, recommending solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments such as legal, compliance, technology, operations, and product, to support process and procedures related to data governance and risk management.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business analytics, governance, or risk management.
  • Experience in AWS, SQL, Excel, Jira, and data tables (Python, Asana experience is a plus).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and process management skills.
  • Robust technical acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with new technologies, AI, and databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
