Business Data Analyst I

Job description

• Collaborate with teams to support operational analysis and deliver data insights.
• Contribute to operations by establishing and reviewing metrics, Service level agreements, thresholds, and escalation procedures.
• Build and present dashboards to audiences.
• Be a data steward to monitor and improve overall data quality.
• Review and validate data for accuracy.
• Define and document ongoing process changes and improvements.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis.
• Work closely with internal clients, senior team members, and external vendors to build relationship and maintain solid working relationships.
• Aggregate, analyze our data through quantitative and qualitative analysis, data modeling, and business plan presentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL queries.
• Experience documenting data flows and processes.
• 1+ years of hands-on SQL development.
• And to provide deliverables within the expected timeframe.
• Experience profiling data, including data discovery, cleansing, and analysis.
