Purpose

 

We are seeking an accomplished Strategic Account Director to lead our largest accounts within the Tier 1 Telco sector. Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, you will drive growth, engagement, and revenue generation for our key clients. Your role will involve strategic upselling, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions from our suite of world-class Decisioning software, Credit Bureau data, Open Banking Solutions, and Fraud & ID offerings.

You will represent our company as a trusted advisor, demonstrating deep industry knowledge and a commitment to excellence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure high-quality outcomes for both Experian and our valued clients.

Your primary responsibility will be achieving sales targets by understanding client needs and aligning our solutions with their commercial objectives. Your agility, curiosity, and creative problem-solving skills will be essential. We seek a dynamic individual who combines strategic thinking with strong sales methodology.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Sales Generation
  • Lead and expand relationships with our largest clients in the Telco sector
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and proactively pursue new business prospects
  • Taking the commercial lead in achieving positive bidding outcomes
  • Align Experian’s value propositions with client business drivers
  • Champion Experian values
  • Maintaining ang growing the existing revenue footprint within the strategic accounts.
  • Maintaining a Client Focus
  • Deliver exceptional Client Focus, targeting industry leading Net Promoter Score achievement.
  • Become a Trusted Advisor and go-to Subject Matter Expert for your customers, participating in the development of key solutions to make their business more successful

  • 10 to 15 years of experience dealing with strategic accounts
  • Able to demonstrate a history in complex sales and understanding complex solutions
  • Works with an enthusiastic outlook and a strong team orientation
  • Advanced communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • A consultative and approachable manner
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
