Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

• You will be reporting to your manager.
• This is individual contributor (Non-Managerial) role
• This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

Responsibilities

• Take a technical leadership role within development teams, solving complex engineering challenges and influencing system architecture and design.
• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle, including analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Design solutions for intricate system problems and technical improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and DevOps teams to ensure cohesive planning and delivery of features.
• Define and help accomplish the technical strategy for product development, including recommending appropriate technologies.
• Ensure development work follows Agile principles and practices, contributing to ceremonies, backlog refinement, and cross-team coordination.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to raise the engineering bar within the team.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering roles, including hands-on backend development with modern frameworks (e.g., Java with Spring Boot, C# with .NET, or Node.js).
• Experience building and maintaining cloud-native systems using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway).
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Hands-on experience working with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, and data modeling principles.
• Knowledge and practical experience in Generative AI concepts and tools is required.
• Grasp of Agile development methodologies and engineering best practices.
