Senior Scrum Master (Maternity Cover)

The Senior Scrum Master is a process facilitator ensuring agile practices are applied in the scrum teams. You are an impediment removal facilitator helping the scrum teams to resolve impediments, and is an agile coach living the agile values and principles and bringing the scrum teams up their agile knowledge levels. Accountable for the effectiveness of the scrum teams in delivering the product roadmap.

Job role is based in Sofia location, on a hybrid working model. Temporary contract (Maternity cover).

Senior Scrum Master role is reporting to Head of Cloud Platforms.

What you will do:

• Manage the development of in-scope products in-line with product backlog priorities and the roadmap across multiple scrum teams

• Champion all scrum events and ensure they are positive, productive, and time-boxed

• Work closely with Product Owners to refine and groom product backlog items to have sufficient details ready for development Sprint

• Orchestrate the work of the scrum teams during sprint and being responsible for the output

• Help resolve impediments through troubleshooting

• Protect, promote and support team self-organisation through empowerment

• Ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly and maximize performance across multiple scrum teams

• Champion and lead the implementation of continuous improvement consistently across scrum teams

• Motivate the team, support conflict resolution, promote team successes and challenge failings

• Comply with corporate procedures and stay informed about their updates

What you will bring:

• 7 years+ Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead experience gained from development of complex software

• Proven track record of successful project deliveries and of enabling data-driven continuous improvement

• Experience in leading local and offshore development teams

• Possess a degree in Business Computing, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or equivalent industry and technical qualifications or experience

• Hold relevant industry certifications, accreditations or specialization
