Senior Manager – Marketing Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Marketing to drive measurable business growth through integrated, digital-first marketing programmes.

The role will be responsible for developing and executing growth, digital and social media strategies across the customer lifecycle — building awareness and engagement, generating demand, supporting customer acquisition and improving conversion. The successful candidate will combine strong marketing fundamentals with digital expertise, data-driven decision-making and a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities Growth Strategy & Integrated Marketing

• Develop and execute growth marketing plans aligned with business, revenue and marketing priorities.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate awareness, consideration, demand generation, acquisition, engagement and conversion across priority audiences.
• Translate business objectives into integrated marketing campaigns with clear target audiences, propositions, channel strategies and measurable outcomes.
• Use customer, market, competitive and performance insights to identify and prioritise growth opportunities.

Digital Marketing

• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across paid, owned and earned channels.
• Plan and optimise campaigns across relevant channels including paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, email, web and other digital platforms.
• Work with internal teams and agency partners on audience targeting, media planning, campaign activation and ongoing optimisation.
• Improve digital customer journeys and conversion paths across campaign landing pages and web experiences.
• Apply REO, GEO, AEO, SEO, SEM, content distribution and digital acquisition principles to increase qualified traffic and engagement.
• Monitor digital performance and optimise channel mix and investment based on effectiveness and business outcomes.
• Stay current with evolving digital platforms, advertising formats, audience behaviours and marketing technology.

Social Media Marketing

• Develop and execute the social media strategy in support of brand, thought leadership, engagement and business objectives.
• Plan and manage organic and paid social media campaigns, with particular focus on channels relevant to priority audiences.
• Build social content and campaign calendars in partnership with content, communications, business and agency teams.
• Translate business priorities, research, insights and thought leadership into engaging social-first content and campaigns.
• Use audience targeting and platform capabilities to extend reach and improve campaign effectiveness.
• Monitor social media performance, audience engagement and campaign results and use insights to continuously optimise activity.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure social activity is consistent with brand, communications and governance requirements.

Campaign Development & Demand Generation

• Plan and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns spanning digital, social, content, email, events and other relevant touchpoints.
• Develop campaign strategies covering segmentation, targeting, proposition, messaging, content, channel mix, activation and measurement.
• Develop programmes that support demand generation and progression through the marketing and sales funnel.
• Partner closely with sales and business teams to align campaigns with priority segments, propositions and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate internal teams, agencies and specialist partners to deliver campaigns efficiently and to a high standard.

Performance, Analytics & Optimisation

• Establish clear KPIs and measurement frameworks across campaigns and digital channels.
• Track metrics across the funnel, including reach, engagement, traffic, leads, conversion and other relevant business outcomes.
• Analyse campaign, channel and audience performance to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Design and run structured experiments across audiences, creative, messaging, channels and customer journeys.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for marketing strategy, campaign optimisation and investment decisions.
• Build a strong test-and-learn approach and scale activities that demonstrate measurable impact.

Customer & Market Insights

• Develop a strong understanding of target customers, their needs, behaviours and decision journeys.
• Use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform segmentation, targeting, propositions, content and campaign strategy.
• Monitor relevant market, category, customer and competitor developments and translate them into actionable marketing opportunities.

Stakeholder & Agency Management

• Work closely with business, sales, product, communications, content, analytics and other marketing teams to deliver integrated programmes.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide clear recommendations based on marketing and performance insights.
• Manage digital, media, creative and other agency relationships where required, ensuring quality, efficiency and accountability.
• Guide and support junior colleagues and help strengthen digital and growth marketing capability across the team.
