Job Description

You will lead the consolidated FSD financial planning and analysis view, strengthening the quality, and usefulness of reporting, and performance analysis. As a people leader, you will provide daily direction and coaching to a dedicated FP&A analyst.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead the recurring FSD calendar for monthly close, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and regional or corporate submissions, maintaining reconciliation, documentation, version-control, and data-quality practices.
  • Consolidate revenue, cost, EBIT, and functional and regional inputs into a clear management view; develop integrated performance commentary and maintain consolidated risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze financial results, KPIs, trends, and variances, and develop financial models, scenarios, sensitivities, and decision materials for senior leadership.
  • Lead practical AI-enabled and automated improvements in forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and variance analysis, with appropriate access, reconciliation, documentation, and human-review controls.
  • Partner with finance and business leaders to coordinate inputs, clarify accountability, and deliver concise decision support while coaching the dedicated analyst and strengthening process documentation and backup coverage.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A or related finance experience, including leading complex planning, consolidation, or management-reporting processes.
  • 4+ years of supervisory experience, including coaching analysts and establishing clear ownership and coverage for critical processes.
  • Experience with financial statements, monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and regional or corporate reporting.
  • Experience analyzing large financial and operational datasets and translating KPI, trend, and variance analysis into recommendations for senior team members.
  • Experience improving forecasting or reporting through automation, business intelligence, or generative AI, including appropriate data and human-review controls.
  • Experience maintaining reconciliations, data definitions, reporting controls, documentation, and repeatable submission processes.
