Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation II (Azure)

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation with 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Windows. automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You will help support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, network, and security operations, while also contributing to innovation through new technologies like AI and automation.

You are a cloud-experience engineer with deep experience in CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and infrastructure as code. You'll enable smooth, reliable, and secure software development and deployment. You will report to the Manager of Infrastructure and Platform Engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Develop secure, automated infrastructure solutions for development, testing, and production environments.
  • Manage and evolve CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment speed and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and operations teams to support efficient and scalable workflows.
  • Resolve infrastructure issues across cloud platforms and environments.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for processes.
  • Lead system testing efforts, including performance, security, and reliability evaluations.
  • Guide best practices for monitoring, logging, automation, and cloud operations.
  • Implement cloud security standards and ensure compliance through periodic audits and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support scalable cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure, leveraging IaaS, PaaS, and automation tools like Terraform and PowerShell. Manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, support hybrid identity environments (Active Directory, Azure Entra ID), and maintain secure, high-availability infrastructure. Integrate emerging technologies, including AI, and contribute to network, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Technical Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Cloud Engineering and Administration, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and AWS as secondary.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Windows technology stack, including Windows Server 2019/2022.
  • Strong experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SFTP, and related networking protocols.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, and Azure Entra ID.
  • Hands-on experience with network administration, backup, and storage solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Clustering.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, patching, and endpoint security solutions in enterprise environments.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Familiarity with overseeing and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk.
  • Hands-on experience with APIM gateways, Ansible, Terraform, and other cloud native services.
  • Solid foundation in network administration and cloud security best practices.
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, and Azure Entra ID.
  • CI/CD Pipeline and Azure Native technologies
