Senior Data Engineer

What you will do:

  • Develop advanced data engineering solutions supporting data analysis and ad-hoc insights
  • Design scalable, cloud-native data platforms and pipelines for structured and unstructured data
  • Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud-native services
  • Lead the design and optimization of complex, multi-platform data architectures to improve performance, scalability and growth
  • Apply best practices across data quality, governance, lineage, security and observability.
  • Collaborate with analytics, product, engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, high-value data solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship, ensuring adherence to established engineering standards and quality procedures.
  • Develop and improve data solutions using modern cloud technologies (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue or equivalent services)

You will report into the Data Modeller - Manager.

Experience and Skills

What you will bring:

  • 4+ years in a similar role
  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience developing data engineering solutions in AWS environments.
  • SQL expertise and solid programming skills (Python / PySpark preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, distributed processing and modern data architecture patterns.
  • Experience with integration patterns and secure data handling practices.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
