Job description

 

Role: Senior Credit Controller 

Reports into: Accounts Receivable Team Lead 

Expectations of a Senior Credit Controller 

  1. Supporting the Leads in coordinating responses / getting inputs from other team members to ease the high level review by the Leads – especially those related to APAC countries, e.g. service catalogue 

  1. Act as the process expert and is expected to also provide inputs/ be involved with inputs on process and control improvements e.g. identification of challenges / issues and suggestion for solutions. 

  1. Have strong knowledge on general collection activities and be also another contact for other team members to consult with – escalation matrix, GL coding, fruitful notes, queries, payment promise.  

  1. Able to lead on discussions with stakeholders where decisions/ approvals are not required. 

  1. Control and compliance – e.g. walkthrough the collection process with auditors if the need arise 

  1. Handling of strategic/ sensitive clients. 

  1. Plan coordinate and drive testing for new CRs.  

  1. Migration projects e.g. what could be the challenges or important areas that we need to consider before the project goes live.  

  1. Strong technical knowledge on Microsoft.  

  1. Assist the Leads in reporting if needed.  

  1. Train new joiners. 

  1. Clear development plan that provides continuity and successor plan for team lead roles. 

  1. Be a contributor to any Ad-hoc GFS/ regional/ global projects. 

  1. Lean Six Sigma development plan and roadmap to Green belt.
