Senior Consultant, Billing

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the technical design and development of Experian’s custom billing application, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate with SMEs and business users to validate requirements and propose effective solution options for global billing processes.
• Prepare detailed technical designs based on functional specifications and oversee implementation for medium/large software changes.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing technical expertise and guiding them to grow within the team and deliver successful projects.
• Provide functional configuration and design support for billing solutions across Experian’s global operations.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies, optimizing processes, and ensuring scalability and performance of billing solutions.

What your background looks like:

• Proven experience leading development of complex billing / financial system features, delivering high-quality releases on time.
• Strong track record in large-scale system migrations or transformations, ensuring operational continuity and stakeholder alignment.
• Expertise in designing technical solutions and preparing detailed technical documentation to support global processes.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, resolve technical challenges, and foster collaboration within diverse teams.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting technical solutions and engaging stakeholders to align business objectives.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and enterprise technologies such as Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Exadata, or Java.
