As a Product Owner, you will work within the Financial Crime Compliance division. You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad reporting to the Product Director, Financial Crime Compliance. The team focuses on providing customers with a perpetual KYC/KYB solution, enabling them to efficiently manage compliance requirements and mitigate financial crime risks on an ongoing basis. This role will concentrate on enhancing our KYC/KYB solution to ensure it meets regulatory standards and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and Technology team to deliver the product vision and strategy.
  • Perform the role of Product Owner within an Agile Scrum team, including defining user stories and prioritizing the product backlog.
  • Manage the product delivery roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring communication and understanding of product requirements.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the product.
  • Ensure the product meets regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in the context of financial crime compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to the development team, helping to resolve any issues that arise during the development process.
  • Leverage experience with agile methodologies to maintain regular customer contact, drive experimentation, and lead with insights that resonate across various market verticals.
  • You will engage in both technical and commercial discussions, bridging the gap between different stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Utilise background in financial crime compliance solutions to enhance product offerings and ensure regulatory adherence, providing customers with robust and compliant solutions.
  • Apply understanding of product metrics to maximize the effectiveness of the product and drive continuous improvement.

Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, preferably within the business information services industry.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and working within Scrum teams.
  • Understanding of SaaS solutions and their development lifecycle.
  • Experience in financial crime compliance and regulatory adherence.
  • Gather and interpret customer feedback and product metrics.
  • Manage and prioritize a product backlog effectively.
  • Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide and support development teams.
