Product Engineer

Job description

• Involve in R&D, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment of software application
• Conducts, leads and coordination a specific application module development activity
• Conducts technical analysis and design of application module & database
• Provides technical expertise and guidance to developers
• Ensure module developed meets the architecture and standard set forth, including conducting code reviews, unit testing and integration testing
• Continuous process improvement

Qualifications

• Must possess a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. Seniority will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications; At least 3 years' experience in systems design and the implementation of software;
• Experience with CodeIgniter, Bootstrap, and MVC architecture; Experience on developing Restful API with XML / JSON; Experience on developing SDK integration and mobile development (iOS and Android) is an advantage;
• Familiar with GIT Versioning Control and source safe environment; Good understanding of Agile, SCRUM, SDLC and software design concepts;
• Strong skills in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting; Understanding security principles & best practices (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) in web and mobile application development;
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment & able to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
