Marketing Automation Specialist - Marketo (12-Month Project)

The Digital Automation team within Experian Regional Marketing & Communications function is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to meaningfully contribute to one of the region's most significant marketing transformation projects. Working as part of an international team of digital marketing specialists, you will help drive the migration of our marketing automation platform from Eloqua to Marketo across multiple markets in EMEA and APAC.

You will be reporting to the Regional Marketing Automation Manager. You will collaborate with marketing, operations, and technology stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of countries, including the Nordics, Spain, South Africa, India, China, and Australia.

What you'll do:

• Support the Eloqua-to-Marketo migration across EMEA and APAC.
• Manage data and marketing asset migration, including emails, landing pages, forms, and nurture programmes.
• Ensure data quality, platform governance, and Marketo best practices throughout the migration.
• Partner with regional marketing teams to ensure a smooth transition and adoption.
• Troubleshoot platform, data, and integration issues and provide ongoing operational support.
• Create documentation and training materials and support user enablement.
• Collaborate with global teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

What you'll bring:

• 3+ years of experience in marketing automation, digital marketing operations, or a similar role, within an international or multi-market environment.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo, including campaign creation, automation workflows, asset management, data management, and platform administration.
• Practical experience with marketing automation implementation or migration projects.
• Previous experience migrating from Eloqua to Marketo.
• Knowledge of Marketo best practices, including campaign structure, governance, scalability, and data management.
• Experience managing email campaigns, landing pages, forms, nurture programs, segmentation, and automated journeys.
• Data literacy, with experience validating data, troubleshooting data flows, managing segmentation, and maintaining data quality.
• Working knowledge of HTML for editing and troubleshooting emails and landing pages.
• Experience creating process documentation, platform guidelines, and training materials, with the confidence to support and train marketing stakeholders.
• Fluent English
• Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones.
