ICFR Controls Testing Senior Manager

Reporting to the Head of ICFR Testing, you will guide the testing approach and the risk assessment over internal controls over financial reporting across the Experian global business.

In collaboration with the 2nd line of defense ICFR Finance Controls team, you will develop the financial control testing capabilities including determining approaches, scope and test reporting mechanisms. You will manage the timely delivery and quality of the ICFR testing plan.

What you'll do?

• Ensure activities between the Group Risk Controls & Testing team and ICFR Controls are aligned with Global Finance requirements.
• Guide the prioritization of testing activities.
• Review all testing deficiencies identified as part of the ICFR work and ensure correctly classified (PL1 – PL4).
• Manage control tests including coordination with key stakeholders.
• Manage a team of controls testing managers, lead and analysts to ensure efficient use of testing resource across multiple locations globally.
• Provide oversight for external providers complete ICFR testing.
• Deliver high-quality reports to business owners.
• Support the team in agreeing actions with business owners.
• Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to identify opportunities to use high-quality data analytics within testing.
• Lead the team's performance management processes.

What you'll bring?

• Professional finance or accounting qualification ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Audit background (external or internal audit) or corporate experience, in an assurance, internal controls or risk department.
• 10 years+ experience in an audit and accounting firm/or in a SOX testing role in a multinational organization.
• Knowledge in testing ITGC and IT Application controls (advantage).
• Build relationships and influence at senior management level.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Know Hou working with, advising and reporting findings to regional executive teams.
• Finance and systems knowledge.
• Comfortable working as part of a global functional team.
• Proven ability to identify key risks and improvements in the control environment
• A commercial approach to governance and change with an approach that champions collaboration and consultation.
