Role Summary

As a Finance Controls Senior Analyst you will support and monitoring financial control processes across the organization. We are looking for a solid foundation in accounting principles, a working knowledge of revenue recognition standards, and experience in internal control frameworks. The analyst will collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, enhance process integrity, and contribute to continuous improvement programs that strengthen financial governance.

You will support Experian's North America and SLATAM teams, reporting to the GFS Risk & Control Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support and validate revenue recognition processes: Participate in process for deploying controls and ensuring revenue recognition processes in agreement on accounting standards, testing samples, and follow up items.
  • Take part in Internal and external Audits: By preparing documentation, reviewing evidence and responding to inquiries, help with remediation efforts. Participate in ICFR processes.
  • Mass Allocation Entries: Help with month-end activities for NA Revenue Recognition, such as journal entries and other reporting analysis.
  • Cadency Admin Support: Collaborate running Cadency Reports, Delinquency follow ups, conduct ad hoc financial analyses and support in the Indicator Dashboards updates.
  • Collaborate with teams such as (Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Recognition): By mapping documentation, updating control procedures and providing guidance and best practices to ensure controls are embedded in business processes.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or other related bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced English level.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting; knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS or US GAAP).
  • Work understanding of revenue recognition and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX, COSO).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel – advanced formulas, pivot tables; Power BI – dashboards and data modeling).
  • Experience analyzing control gaps, recommend corrective actions, and implement process improvements.

Ideal requirements:

  • Experience with audit processes.
  • Knowledge/Certifications of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma projects as an ideal.
