You will support and lead the development of model-driven forecasts and analysis for the UK's economy, credit markets, regions, sectors and socio-demographic segments. Examples of the range of client projects recently undertaken include building loss forecasting models, concentration risk analysis, stress testing and running local area impact scenarios. Clients include first and second tier banking and financial services companies, commercial real estate, retail and public sector. You will be reporting to the Analytics Engineer Manager.

What you'll do:

Data Analysis

  • Analyze, model, and forecast large, complex datasets
  • Build econometric and credit risk models
  • Identify valuable insights and data features
  • Create clear visualizations, dashboards, and reports
  • Present findings to clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality and documentation

Project Management

  • Define scope, timelines, and resources
  • Manage delivery, risks, and reporting
  • Maintain quality and profitability

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead client discussions and presentations
  • Build strong, consultative relationships
  • Support sales and account growth

Innovation & Problem Solving

Experience and Skills

What you'll bring:

  • University degree with a high numerical content (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics)
  • 4+ years of experience in the field of data analytics
  • Advanced Knowledge in statistical software packages and other related technologies
  • Create custom, web-based visuals with tools like Tableau, Power BI
  • Ability to leverage cross-functional tools and bring them together into clean dashboards e.g. database technologies (graph databases, relational databases), analytics tools (e.g. Hadoop), modelling tools (e.g. Python, R), visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI);
  • Anticipate and balance the varied interests and conflicting needs of stakeholders;
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
