CR HR Partner

As a HR Partner, you will work closely with business leaders and line managers to build their people capability, plan and manage talent, and develop approaches that achieve shared organizational objectives. You will provide advice and support to leadership regarding best practices to maximize employee efficiencies and drive organizational success. You will be the PoC for HR matters for all CR based employees and will report to the HR Business Partnering Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Partnership: become the HR main PoC for all leaders (local and remote) on their talent administration and HR first contact for all employees based in CR. Collaborate and work closely with HR Ops and TA teams.
  • Talent Management: participate in the performance review cycle, supporting the line managers on their talent administration, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Compensation and Benefits: partner with Total Reward COE and local HR operations to support compensation and benefits programs.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and labor relations. Function as people managers’ CR advisers on legal and local regulations.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, employment laws and regulations and Experian internal policies and Code of Conduct. Oversee employee administration, including benefits, legal norms, internal policies, and labor agreements.
  • Engagement and Culture: Work with line managers on GPTW results analysis and action planning to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive organizational culture. Collaborate on local engagement programs’ implementation. Develop action plans in coordination with the HR Director and people leaders based on people surveys and other engagement initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize HR metrics and data to support the people leader’s decision-making. Work together with the local HR Ops team to generate the metrics and all payroll calculations required by leaders on their decisions.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training programs to support employee development and organizational growth.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Responsible for the implementation of NA HR strategies and best practices from the US to Costa Rica. Act as a liaison between HR partners in the US/other regions and Costa Rica to support site operations. Participate in local and corporate HR projects, including social responsibility, DEI, BCP, and ERGs as required.
  • Offboarding: Investigate and address red flags from exit interviews, providing feedback to local and remote leaders. Support all employee terminations, primarily for remote leaders.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar HR or HRBP role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR core processes, including organizational development, engagement, and talent management.
  • Experience working in multinational companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends, HR best practices, and legal requirements.
  • Advanced verbal and written English skills (B2+)
