Cloud & SRE Engineer

The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for: -

• Delivery of high-quality infrastructure as code solutions across the Experian Cloud estate.
• You will Collaborate with Software Development teams, Product Managers, and Business Owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
• You will Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large and small-scale systems.
• You will Automate tools to monitor system health and reliability to support business process requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Communicate status and risks to the product teams.
• Technical planning, code creation and execution within a self-organised Agile team
• Development of and adherence to policies and procedures to ensure all work is executed to a high standard
• Communicate team progress and roadmaps
• Improve quality and efficiency of delivery
• You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to manager. 

• This is individual contributor (Non-Managerial) role 

Technical Skills – Core

• 5 years of experience
• Proven track record and experience of managing workloads in AWS
• Experience with key Architectural principles such as High availability, disaster recovery and platform resiliency
• DevOps skillset such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins
• Scripting and automation experience – i.e. Python, PowerShell, YAML, GIT
• Atlassian Suite – Jira, Confluence as well as Bitbucket

Technical Skills - Desirable

• Experience of Containerisation with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and Amazon EKS
• Demonstrable Windows and Linux server OS knowledge
• Experience with Networking principles
• Strong cost management discipline

Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of Agile working practices (Scrum, LeSS, Kanban)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience with ticket tracking software, specifically Service Now
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
