Associate Machine Learning Consultant

We're looking for an Associate Machine Learning Consultant to join our EMEA Open Banking Team. This team supports the rollout of Trusso, our modern machine learning-based transaction categorization engine, across the EMEA region.

You will combine analytics consulting, machine learning support, and hands-on data analysis. You will contribute to client projects, support the continuous improvement of our machine learning solutions, and perform analytical investigations to help optimize product performance and deliver value to our clients. You will report to the Trusso Product Lead.

What you'll do:

• Support the development and optimization of Trusso and related products through analytical investigations and model performance analysis.
• Analyse transactional datasets to identify trends, categorization opportunities, data quality issues, and recommendations for model improvement.
• Monitor, validate, and improve machine learning models through testing and analysis of model outputs.
• Develop analytical scripts and tools using Python and related libraries to support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide analytical and product insights to clients and partners, recommending solutions to business challenges.
• Develop analytical solutions using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product teams, and pre-sales teams to deliver successful outcomes and support business opportunities.
• Contribute to product development initiatives and new product enhancements.
• Support ad-hoc analytical investigations, client enquiries, and machine learning-related projects.

What you'll bring:

• 3–5 years of experience in analytics, data science, risk analytics, or a related field, including 1–3 years of consulting or client-facing experience.
• Experience using Python for data analysis, including Pandas and related analytical libraries.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and practical experience applying analytical techniques to solve business problems.
• Knowledge or experience of credit risk analytics, financial services, banking, or transactional data analytics would be advantageous.
