Analytics Consultant

As a Consultant, you will report to the Data Modeler Manager and work with our clients to solve complex business problems through analytics.

You'll design and deliver end-to-end analytical solutions, from understanding our client's challenge to implementing practical, business-focused recommendations. You'll combine technical expertise with commercial thinking to ensure our solutions are scalable, and deliver measurable value.

As one of our senior analytical experts, you'll provide technical leadership, guide project teams, mentor colleagues, and help shape the way we deliver analytics across the business.

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of analytical and data-driven solutions for our clients.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to understand business challenges, define requirements, and translate them into analytical approaches.
• Provide technical leadership across predictive modelling, scorecard development, machine learning, and advanced analytics throughout the model lifecycle.
• Define solution approaches, considering analytical methods, data, technology, implementation effort, and business value.
• Lead client discussions, workshops, and presentations, communicating recommendations, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor and support Analysts and Senior Analysts, helping develop their technical capabilities and providing guidance throughout project delivery.

What you will bring

• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Experience developing predictive models, credit risk scorecards, and analytical solutions within financial services or a consulting environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and SAS, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, or LightGBM.
• An understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, model monitoring, validation, and model governance.
• 1+ years of experience designing scalable analytical solutions and applying automation or GenAI to improve analytical processes.
