As such, we are looking for a UX Content Team Leader to lead the UX Content team, while playing a key role in also being the content designer on a critical part of our portfolio.

UX Content is part of our UX team, and you’ll be working as part of cross-functional a team to write and design user-focussed technical documentation and define user focussed labelling and messaging for our products and services – both on premise and SaaS. UX Content works closely with UX Designers, product management and other stakeholders to create consistent user experiences, while applying the most recent trends and best practices in UX writing and content design.

Your Duties and Responsibilities Will Include…

  • Leading and mentoring the UX Content team, while executing the overall UX and Product strategy.
  • Promoting a user-centred design approach applied to content/technical writing, in agreement with the UX Practice lead, UX Designers, Product management teams.
  • Advocating users’ needs by understanding them, tracking and analysing their behaviours in relation to content consumption and preferences, to recommend new content design solutions that are useful, usable and enjoyable.
  • Partnering with Product Managers and Engineering product teams, as well as other stakeholders (eg. Marketing etc) to define and implement content and user assistance initiatives that deliver tangible business results. Promote collaboration within the team.
  • Establishing standards, methods and tools to efficiently produce high quality content and user experiences
  • Understanding our products, marketplace, business and technical strategies, as the background to working on product and marketing requirements.
  • Facilitating and drive performance management processes for your team.
  • Championing a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business.  Ensure that by leading by example, you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of customers. Through the adoption of a top-down approach, demonstrate a culture where all of our people understand their regulatory obligations, including what the fair treatment of customer’s means to them and our organisation.
  • Defining and executing the product content strategy in line with lean and agile principles with a focus on discovery and iterative implementation.


What We’re Looking For


  • University graduate, or equivalent qualifications or experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a content manager/designer, technical author or related role.
  • Demonstrable interest in user-centre design, the value of user research, and how to apply findings to suggest solutions for both the end user and service provider.
  • Demonstrable interest in new trends in content design and technical writing.
  • Understand principles on Information Architecture, Content Design and Analytics.
  • Fluent in the use of authoring and content management tools such as EpiServer and Madcap Flare.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must enjoy working in a friendly, fast-paced team environment and be comfortable presenting ideas to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently to gather and distil complex requirements.


  • Familiar with agile methodology and iterative design.
  • Has worked in a global environment (Experian also has delivery teams in Malaysia and Europe, plus regional commercial operations).
  • Experience with integrated, software-as-a-service platforms and data-driven software.
  • Experience estimating task/project timing to deliver in accordance with project plan.
