Test Delivery Operational Lead

Experian is looking for an Experienced Test Delivery Operational Lead to join the Decisioning Analytics business.   This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to lead and ensure the successful delivery, operations and development of testing programmes and initiatives.  Experian’s Decisioning Analytics has embarked on series of initiatives some of which include:  next generation pragmatic automation, new ways of working and best practices to benefit our clients.

This role reports into Isabel Palmer - Head of Testing for Decision Analytics at Experian. 

As a Test Delivery Operational Lead, you will:

 Be Customer service focused. The TDOL will support and lead initiatives to maintain and ensure consistency of high-level quality of testing, drive cost reductions in testing but maintaining quality, reporting and governance mechanisms and managed communications

  • Develop plans and drive to meet cost reduction targets for FY22, c300K from value adds and efficiencies
  • Monitor testing programmes for adherence and support company best practises delivery of company goals and organisation development
  • Work with internal testing teams and learning departments to develop and ensure that the testing learning pathways and knowledge management is up to date, consistently maintained and relevant according to the company objectives and technology supporting sustainable and scalable solutions
  • Ensure consistency, good effective and efficient communications from testing project portfolios of the DA BU. with Superior presentation skills to convey and influence clear cascading of effective testing delivery and deployment of initiatives and testing programmes
  • Build and Maintain client partner relations by acting as a trusted advisor to Experian client delivery partners, project managers and delivery teams
  • Leading and sometimes involves coaching and mentoring QA Managers
  • Expected to build relationships within UKI and wider organisation (global teams)
  • Expected to lead, work as part of a team or to represent testing to our clients.  Our project portfolio is a mix of finance, banking retail, insurance, authorities, credit, motoring.
  • Set example to others by participating in DA BU events
  • Continuing to identify opportunities to expand the scope of improvement that will benefit our clients and DA BU internally
  • Perform effectively as a team member of leadership team for DA BU 
  • Proactively motivate the testing team
  • Proactively drive personal development by identifying learning opportunities through work experience and formal training
  • Owns the testing delivery operations and the improvement programmes running in parallel
  • Works across the DA business unit, working with Delivery Managers, Quality Assurance, Ops as well as GDA; Global Solution Team, Global Testing Team and Transformation

Essential experience. Could this role be for you?

  • Experience in testing delivery in enterprise wide test and QA function. 
  • Experience in operating, standardizing and centralizing testing department.
  • Experience transforming or maintaining into a successful service delivery with target cost models. 
  • Experience initiating and implementation of test automation models in any SDLC models (e.g.  agile, waterfall projects)
  • Experience negotiating tooling and resourcing contracts.  
  • Experience in supplier relationships
  • Experience managing testing teams based onsite or offshore delivery or combined.
  • Experience in on-boarding testing functional areas. 
  •  Experience in managing test environments, data and releases as part of testing delivery.
