Key Responsibilities:

Building reusable, flexible and well-documented template content using Experian’s PowerCurve software

Engage with and develop our SaaS and PaaS product offerings

Actively contribute to; and engage with, the team’s agile development methodology

Support team members with workstack and prioritisation activities to help achieve business goals


Essential Skills and Experience:

Ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise their workload

Degree-Level (RQF Level 6 or above) education in a computing / analytical / statistical / mathematical discipline, equivalent education or relevant experience.

Programming and analytical skills: “computational thinking”

Technical problem solving i.e. the ability to look at issues and requirements from a business perspective and then translate this into a solution

Experience with Relational Databases (RDBMS) and Structured Query Language (SQL)

Working knowledge of scripting/programming, including the Groovy/Java stack

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

 

Desirable Skills and Experience

Agile experience, including scrum, sprints and working off a backlog

A technical background and/or aptitude.

Experience working with Credit Bureau data, and knowledge of its use within an Originations setting.

Strong programming and scripting ability with the following technologies and languages

o XML, including XSD, XPath, XSLT and RegEx

o Groovy, including working Java software stack knowledge, IntelliJ and Log4j

o SQL, including MSSQL/T-SQL, Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL 

o HTML/CSS, including HTML 5, CSS3 and jQuery
