  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent degree with a programming focus
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Strong programming experience
  • Program development: maintenance, and support
  • Understanding of medical insurance billing concepts
  • Strong experience with MS applications
  • Full understanding of X12 transactions (837,835,270/271,277)
  • Healthcare information systems claims, payment processing and posting systems experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Collaborative
  • Patient Account background
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Travel approximately less 5%; including possible overnight trips
