The world of consumer credit can feel complex. After all, Experian represents 220 million credit-active consumers nationwide with 1.3 billion updates flowing through monthly. How can a business efficiently sort through this enormous amount of data to identify consumers, make decision, market to prospects and collect?

With Experian’s Consumer Information Services solutions, they can. Our CIS division offers a suite of solutions to assist lenders, government entities, retailers and beyond with all aspects of the customer credit lifecycle.

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Manager for our Ascend Marketing platform. Our award winning Ascend Analytical Sandbox gave our clients the fastest access to the most robust set of data, so they can constantly maximize their analytics and serve their consumer base with the best decisions possible. The Ascend Marketing Product Manager will continue to develop product capabilities, execute strategies, and manage information and data services in the credit industry with a focus on marketing execution and digital transformation.

Responsibilities include:
• Partner with stakeholders to drive and execute Ascend Marketing product innovation and feature enhancements
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise across the organization by exuding deep knowledge to drive collaboration with internal stakeholders, as well as clients, partners and at industry conferences
• Define opportunities to enhance the Ascend Marketing Product offering by identifying consumer & client needs, trends, new product concepts, marketing plans and go to market strategies
• Work cross-functionally with various Experian business units and product management teams to ensure product services are positioned in alignment with other Experian capabilities and platforms
• Apply market intelligence and P&L analysis against product investments to establish priority.
• Support sales team to identify target accounts and markets, ultimately driving for adoption
• Understand, maintain and update the compliance guardrails for the Ascend Marketing product, adapting to a broad range of potential clients from startups, to credit unions, to large, established financial institutions
• Develop sales training and selling materials based on key benefits such as return on investment and how Experian can solve client challenges



Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Innovation or Credit Marketing
• Thorough knowledge of Financial Services industry, focusing on how clients are utilizing big data platforms to transform their approach to analytics
• Proven track record of driving product innovation and bringing new products to market
• Knowledge of how clients develop and implement credit models and where the bottlenecks are
• Excellent decision-making, presentation skills and strong influencing skills to be able to interface and articulate our products and analytical capabilities to our clients, leadership, data scientists and analysts
• Must remain flexible and be comfortable with ambiguity within a very demanding, constantly changing environment
• Ability to work well in and successfully navigate a matrix environment
• Agile methodology experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Digital Marketing experience is a plus
