Senior / Business Development Manager (Thailand)

The role
As a member of our Sales Team, you will drive the sales engagement process to deliver successful contracts generating a profitable revenue stream to Experian. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, working with in country partners, colleagues and agents as appropriate. You will be expected to deliver the full roadmap of services in the defined region
The successful candidate will currently be working in the field of sales working with financial institutions in the region. The candidate must have access to, relationships with and ideally have done business before with the c-level decision makers at the target banks in country.
The candidate must be a proven and seasoned business development professional with a demonstrable track record of success which can be evidenced. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to drive the sales cycle without the need for hands on management.
The ideal candidate must have worked in region and has demonstrated skill in being able to overcome the complexities of working in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the sales engagement process in targeted region
  • Delivering against a set target of recognised revenue per financial year
  • Build pipeline of full solution set across all countries in region
  • Evangelise and deliver the message to all target accounts
  • Source and secure working relationships with partners in region as appropriate. This may include, for example financial institutions and local agents
  • Provide analysis, feedback and execution on go to market strategies ,challenges and competitors in region
  • Adhere to Experian policies and procedures
  • Work under the Experian behaviours and values
  • Facilitate and drive performance management processes
  • Champion a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian. business.  Ensure that by leading by example, you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of customers.  Through the adoption of a top down approach, demonstrate a culture where all of our people understand their regulatory obligations, including what the fair treatment of customer’s means to them and our organisation.

  • Aggressive results orientated sales person
  • Must have gravitas and command respect from peers and c-level customer engagement
  • Passionate, humble, gracious and adaptable in personality
  • High moral standards, honesty and an ethical approach to doing business
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Resilient to knock backs with drive and determination to succeed
  • Must have worked in specific areas of Financial Services selling to C-level
  • Demonstrable track record of consistent overachievements against target over a 5-8yr period
  • Have worked in defined territory for a minimum of 5 years
  • Proficient in English language
  • Skilled in commercial proposition creation and negotiation of contracts and commercial terms
  • Good Degree from a recognized institution
  • Has worked for a mobile operator or retail bank
  • Previous experience working with data, analytics and banking applications
