Senior Billing SME - FTC Remote

Experian’s Global Corporate Systems and Services (GCSS) provides IT consulting and technical support for front office and back office software systems.  The GCSS Billing Tower is looking for a Billing Consultant / SME to support strategic billing initiatives, enhancements to existing billing systems, and roll out to new locations. This role can be based remotely throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate / support the technical delivery of billing initiatives / projects e.g. enhancements to legacy billing systems, billing package implementation
  • Work with business stakeholders to validate requirements and map to system functionality
  • Work with technical teams and vendors to review the end to end solution proposed, and identify any localizations required.
  • Provide internal consultancy and billing expertise / best practices e.g. product / pricing configuration, billing account structure, standard interfaces, etc
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and key business stakeholders



  • Billing expertise; gained implementing integrated billing solutions in IT-enabled projects e.g. usage / transactional / subscription based billing, software-as-a-service (SaaS) billing solutions, understanding of Prospect-to-Cash processes including Sales, Service, and Billing/Finance
  • Consultative approach to business analysis / solution design. Ability to elicit essential business needs, facilitate design workshops and cost/benefit analysis, and evaluate and propose solutions.
  • Proven coordination / project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Proven analytical competence.
  • Ability to handle conflicting priorities.
  • Experience of working in high pressure results oriented organization.
  • Experience of working autonomously within geographically-dispersed / virtual teams in a multicultural environment
