Role Summary:

A unique position with a diverse set of responsibilities: your goal is to support the APAC Head of Sales Excellence and the APAC Leadership team in understanding our sales performance and capabilities, and to guide their hand in driving lasting improvement.

The expanded focus on Sales Excellence is a recent development in APAC, and the role is crucial to establishing the right tools and cadence to support a higher performing sales team.


What you’ll need to bring to the party:

  • You will appreciate the power of data and be able to leverage it to provide insight into our sales performance. 
  • You will have experience of using SalesForce CRM instances, and have worked closely with Sales Leaders in the past.
  • You will be a highly organised and analytical person, and able to manage broad demands and prioritise accordingly.
  • You will be able to cut through noise to the heart of problems, to find the best solutions.
  • You will understand how to communicate with non-experts, including by conveying thoughts in jargon-free language
  • You will have an ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty to solve problems, especially by arriving at a good solution where there is no single perfect solution


What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be working closely with colleagues both in and outside of Sales Excellence across APAC’s five regions, Australia-New Zealand (ANZ), Greater China, India, Japan and South East Asia (SEA).
  • You will have a range of regular and project-based duties supporting our journey of developing and improving our working practices and rollout and adoption of new tools, processes etc
  • You will perform varying simple, and deep dive analyses to uncover opportunity within our operating models
  • You will support the regional leadership team in their understanding of our sales performance, and interaction of other functions (e.g. product, delivery) with our sales cohort
  • You will bring new ideas and new perspectives

More about you:

  • The ideal candidate will
    • Have extensive experience of working with enterprise level CRM systems, ideally SalesForce.
    • Have worked in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment, and show an understanding of working within complicated organisational structures (like matrix organisations)
    • Understand sales / organizational behaviour, including how to encourage and support sustainable change.
    • Understand sales motivations, like commission plans and other incentive schemes
    • Have knowledge about managing a pipeline of opportunities, and what metrics are used to evaluate them.
    • Be highly capable in excel, with experience of other database and data visualization tools (Cliq, Tableau etc) an additional differentiator
    • Have a track record of working in commercial environments, especially within B2B industries / organisations
    • Have a drive to excel when focussing on getting things done
    • Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and understand how to flex their style for native speakers of non-English languages
