As a new role, the candidate will work alongside the Credit Services PMO Lead, supporting the creation of project management processes including scope definition, scheduling, resourcing and planning material, allocation, risk management, cost and budget management and quality assurance.

Please note, this is a contract role for 6-9 months initially. 


This role is responsible for undertaking and leading internally focused medium to large projects and developing, monitoring, updating, communicating and implementing plans for projects, within budget and in line with client expectations. 


The candidate will need to demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills in forming teams from local and remote sources, both within the region and in the wider global group, and ensuring close communication and strong teamwork to contribute to project success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  •          Project Management, including management of risks/issues and project budget
  •          Project Status Reporting, as per agreed method for the PMO
  •          Business Case Support and presentation
  •          Proactive and able to work under minimal supervision
  •          Sharing Knowledge & Best Practice

We are looking for someone that has;

  •          Ability to develop a project WBS/Backlog in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  •          Ability to manage and track the project to completion, mitigating risks.
  •          Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  •          Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  •          Strong ability to facilitate change and influence a wide variety of stakeholders.
  •          Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  •          Excellent leadership skills.
  •          Project Management Professional Qualification, experience in an Agile environment.


Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications


  •        Advanced knowledge and extensive experience of project management methodology           and tools including software.
  •        Excellent knowledge of computer systems and processes and PC desktop applications         including MS Project and Excel
  •        Knowledge of budget management practices


  •           Minimum 5+ years in a project management role
  •           Proven experience managing multiple projects at once
  •           Experience in managing multiple stakeholders both internal and external
  •           Proven experience in managing projects through the entire project lifecycle from                    initiation to deployment and close. 


  •          Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  •         Project Management Professional qualification (PMP, PRINCE2) 


  •                Project management experience gained from the credit industry, data quality or similar
