The world of consumer credit can feel complex. After all, our database represents 220 million credit-active consumers nationwide with 1.3 billion updates flowing through monthly. How can a business sort through this enormous dataset to identify consumers, decision on loans, market to prospects and collect?


Experian’s Consumer Information Services division offers a suite of solutions to assist lenders, government entities, retailers and beyond with all aspects of the customer credit lifecycle.

 

Define and drive the commercial and marketing strategy for Experian Consumer Information Solutions strategic data partnerships. As such, this role will work closely with internal cross functional teams, external data partners and other key stakeholders.

 

Sr. Product Manager - Data Partnerships develops specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. Develops external relationships with potential partners. Supports the prioritizing of data sequencing activities with manager.  Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 
  • Serve as the Lead on the cross-functional for all activities necessary for data partner identification, recruiting, development/integration and commercialization.
  • Define and update Experian CIS data partner strategy.
  • Identify, vet and define rationale for new potential data partners, according to Experian commercial, business and/or strategic value.
  • Maintain a close, working relationship with data partner Commercial Lead (or equivalent) counterparts.
  • Accountable for the commercial agreement drafting.
  • Commercialization support, working closely with the Product Marketing and Development Teams throughout product launch prep, launch and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain deep, intimate knowledge about Experian customers, partners, competitors. 

Experience and Education Requirements :

 
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
  • Travel Required
  • Having wide-ranging experience and uses professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Viewed as expert in the field within the Function.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation.
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other colleagues.
