We’re currently looking for a Product Manager to join our team (for 12 months to cover maternity). This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is an innovative thinker and can balance the needs of the end consumer, the B2B client and the HD/Experian business to develop market disrupting products, together with having a passion for product development.


The role

There is huge scope for opportunity within the role; product management, business analysis, commercial responsibility, building customer relationships, and also systems analysis and development. You can become a specialist in your field and progress quickly in expanding your portfolio of skills and knowledge.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding consumer, client and business needs through frameworks such as jobs to be done.
  • Tracking change in the wider market that could have challenge existing products
  • Identification of new product development opportunities particularly within utilities, retail consumer finance and auto finance.
  • Refining and articulating clear product value statements to support marketing and go to market plans.
  • Ownership and development of product roadmaps & prioritisation of product backlog
  • Accountable for commercial case and got to market plans
  • Influencing senior teams both internally and externally
  • Attending and leading client meetings and calls
  • Becoming a specialist into the meaning and structure of credit bureau data and credit decisioning tools
  • Embedding the Athena product development framework (lean/agile).

Could this be the role for you?



We're looking for someone with previous product management/new product development experience, ideally in financial services, technology, retail/FMCG or related industries but all backgrounds will be considered.


We are looking for someone that can demonstrate experience of design thinking, hypothesis testing and agile development methodologies. You must be able to create robust commercial cases for new products and be able to confidently present and communicate these to the wider business.

Strong conceptual ability, both for analytical problem solving and shaping technical design of solutions is a must as is having the ability to communicate with clients and partners and holding excellent stakeholder management. You'll be organised and able to resource plan and demonstrate prioritisation skill.
