About this role

In this role you’ll oversee B2B Paid Search (SEM) strategy development, implementation, tracking, budget and ROI/reporting.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in search engine marketing through insights and analysis to drive leads and elevate our digital engagement strategy. We’re a fast-paced and results-oriented marketing team, so we’re looking for someone who can jump right in, think on their feet, is resourceful and not be afraid to ask questions. The Specialist will work alongside a team of 40 talented digital and content marketers and marketing/sales operations professionals to drive demand and ROI in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for candidates with proven experience managing dynamic and complex SEM campaigns, along with strong analytical, communication and organizational skills. Core responsibilities include:

• Plan, manage, and optimize successful B2B lead management strategies for pay-per-click/SEM campaigns on various paid search and social networks (Google, Bing, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creative team to align campaign messaging and creative assets to ensure a holistic and cohesive end-to-end customer experience.
• Proactively provide best practices and recommendations to develop new strategies for keyword opportunities, targeting, and other facets of paid search to improve performance and meet stated goals.
• Support management of agency relationship, day-to-day workflow and drive prioritization of processes.
• Develop and measure A/B tests in order to deploy strategies based on insights that will increase conversion rates and lower cost-per-lead and increase ROI across campaigns.
• Write compelling and concise ad headlines and descriptions.
• Understand, measure and routinely produce reports on performance metrics of all PPC campaigns to effectively assess against goals (ROI and KPI)
• Meticulously manage the PPC budget by ensuring proper budget pacing, estimating monthly costs, tracking of monthly invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and providing error-free tracking of incoming invoices and monthly spend.

What your background looks like
• BA/BS degree in marketing or related field
• Minimum of 3+ years experience running SEM/PPC and Display campaigns across various channels including but not limited to Google/Bing and LinkedIn, preferably with a B2B focus
• Google AdWords and/or Google Analytics Certification Preferred
• Experience working with digital marketing tools including: SEMrush, Google Search Console, etc.
• Experience working with enterprise-level content management systems: Adobe Experience Manager & Adobe Analytics preferred
• Background in marketing technology and data analytics, including experience with multi-channel attribution, conversion rate optimization, and customer segmentation
• Strong understanding of A/B testing, funnel optimization, traffic analysis, and personalization
• Technical expertise including understanding of HTML, CSS, or other programming languages a plus
• Experience managing a budget and ROI
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
