We’re currently looking for a Major Incident Manager to join our Service Operations function based in Nottingham on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone for an individual to broaden their career within a FTSE 50, market leading organisation.


The Role


You’ll act as an initial point of escalation for service issues and as appropriate support the investigation and resolution of major incidents and problems. You will receive, analyse, and act upon service reports, as well as periodically auditing internal service provider processes. You’ll build effective relationships with Experian UK&I client support teams and will also work closely with service delivery support colleagues to manage workloads. You will play a part in identifying, agreeing and driving the delivery of opportunities to improve the service performance, and you’ll support the development, delivery and the evolution of the UK&I operating model.


Could this role be for you?


We’re looking for someone with a keen passion for technology and experience working as part of an IT Service Management team in a complex environment with good knowledge of ITIL disciplines and processes. You also have Incident, Problem and Change Management experience (Senior in 1 or 2 disciplines considered) and be an effective communicator with good persuasion and negotiation skills. You’ll also be resilient and remains calm in demanding circumstances, have a good eye for detail, and be curious and not afraid to challenge.
