Internal Communications Manager

We are looking for a talented and driven individual to support employee communications across the Asia Pacific region. This role is critical to employee engagement, supports high quality two-way employee communications and ensures that all internal messaging aligns with the broader Experian story.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Partner with APac leaders to advise on local market communications and provide support to enable them to cascade information

  • Execute an employee focused communications plan to enable structuring and sequencing of messages to all staff, liaising with global and regional counterparts

  • Running the editorial component of the internal communications plan as part of the integrated communications function (which include internal communications, external communications and Corporate Social Responsibility).

  • Communications support for key events such as the annual VISION2020 and Experian APac Sales Conferences

  • Support executive communications for sharing business strategy and plans and key changes to structures, processes, technology

  • Drive communications across multiple channels (including regional intranet) and bring the company strategy to life for all our staff

  • Define the messaging and story for key activities such as ‘spotlight’ focus areas and leadership profiling

  • Work with the appropriate global teams to ensure accurate reporting of all communications activities

  • Manage the development of communications to support announce changes around senior leavers and new starters, as well as the Code of Conduct and other key global policies

  • Offer communications counsel, defining the messaging and story for major HR activity, ensuring that messaging reflects the broader Experian story, style and tone

  • Manage the process for our Client Engagement survey (Net Promoter Score survey) and action planning post survey, coordinating with NPS champions across APac markets and global NPS community and stakeholders

This is a fast paced and varied role which requires management of multiple projects and streams of work. You will have:

  • A passion for impacting business performance through employee engagement
  • Experience of working on engagement strategy, and an understanding of engagement methodology, planning and measurement tools
  • Strong story-telling competence and capability to drive employee engagement
  • The ability to plan effectively and deliver to strict deadlines
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with key champions, advocates and colleagues

  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders at different levels

  • The ability to be self-directed and able to respond quickly to changing needs and unplanned events

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with adaptable style for digital content, traditional media and multi-cultural teams

  • Proven ability to work well cross functionally

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel essential. Exposure to SharePoint an advantage
