About the role 

 

Working within our Solutions function, the Delivery Analyst will be responsible for providing excellent client support through many activities, across a range of vertical markets, products and services. The role works on delivering & supporting fraud solutions to our clients, in collaboration with Analysts, Architects, Consultants and Project Managers to ensure that the agreed business requirements are met.

 

This role allows you to develop a wide variety of business, technical and interpersonal skills, working with some of the world’s largest organisations, helping them react quickly to market opportunities and conditions, and supporting them with configuration changes to protect their business and customers from potential fraud attacks.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting client engagements from end-to-end, ensuring full ownership of tasks allocated and developer subject matter expertise to allow successful undertaking of software configuration activities using our in-house software packages.  In principle, support the interpretation of fraud solution business performance into tangible recommendations leading to configuration changes and then verifying the success of their changes through post live deployment. You will work as part of a team to help ensure that client fraud solutions are optimally delivered through collaborative client engagement, analysis, tuning and optimisation, using the latest product functionality and best practice processes.

 

   

As part of this role you will be expected to carry out the following:

Software Configuration, Test and Support

Configure software according to specifications with support

Test software against specification to ensure the product operates as specified, produce test report and amend where appropriate with support.

Execution and understanding of test cases against a supplied Test plan.

Responsible for the resolution of problems with support from Solution owner, where identified role/responsibilities on project.

Configure the solution to meet the agreed business requirements and confirmed through peer review.

Adheres to defined procedures and standard practices to carry out work under supervision.

Plan, organise and complete own workloads to meet project commitments within agreed schedules.

Follow documented procedures and contribute to the preparation of regular project documentation to both internal and external parties.

Raise problems to the solution owner and relevant project peers in a timely manner, with potential solutions.

Communicate with PM/Client/Experian colleagues to help ensure accurate and timely implementation of project work.

Supporting solution owner in requirements gathering and production of specifications and understanding them.

Present results, conclusions and recommendations to solution owner.

Provide support for UAT queries/resolutions.

Liaising with customers with support from solution owner to understand requirements, through workshops and documentation.

Ensuring that documentation produced of the requirements is in a layout and format that can be easily shared with and understood by stakeholders.

 

Project Delivery

Providing support to Solution owner where necessary

Identify and raise potential risks in achieving project timescales.

Input into the accurate assessment of the work that needs to be undertaken.

Understand and can articulate in discussions client business requirements, at peer level

Where task /time deviate from project plan this is escalated to the PM and Seniors

 

Standards

Contribute into existing process and feedback, share findings with peers from other teams and management where required.

Proactively, develop and maintain effective working relationships in support of the Experian business  

 

Communication

Contribute effectively to conversations, meetings and workshops.

Communicate effectively with PM/ Experian colleagues to ensure accurate and timely implementation of project work and progress is tracked.

Provide an open channel of communication to clients throughout the Delivery project lifecycle.

Ability to ensure client is satisfied with both the analysis undertaken and the service received.

 

Skills

 

Ability to work with senior peers to understand client business needs and build configurations from the low-level design provided by the solution owner.

Ability to escalate professionally to the solution owner where there are risks and issues identified with the proposed configuration build is essential

Experience of data analysis is desirable

Experience of successful contribution of work through projects is desirable

Demonstrates understanding of the software delivery life-cycle is desirable

Ability to assist clients in implementing and testing new solutions is desirable

Ability to plan and execute own workload, and where variance occurs this is escalated to the relevant person is essential

Ability to adopt and follow the tools/processes that expedite test activity/success is essential

Manage client expectations at client peer level is essential

Knows the steps that must be taken to investigate/correct data problems is essential

Ability to work with various stakeholders and members of the team is essential

Ability to learn and adopt new processes and tools is essential

Knowledge of SQL/XML/JSON is desirable but not essential
