Our teams work in self-organising agile teams with colleagues being key contributors in designing and implementing key product features.

Our ethos as an employer is simple – we want to empower you to take ownership of all aspects of delivery to create high quality products whilst demonstrating pride in your work through quality and testability of code, automation improvements and usability.

The purpose of your role:

This is an exciting career opportunity to join a growing team building a centre of excellence to support the delivery of one of Experian’s key strategic new products.

You will be responsible for working with our global team of delivery consultants to develop deployment and implementation best practices based on the needs of our clients and ensuring they are successful in solving their data management problems. You will also assist with scoping of larger or more complex new implementations, work directly with internal Experian teams and feed well qualified feature requests onto the product backlog.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside regional Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to understand Client & Market drivers, requirements and challenges.
  • Assisting regional Delivery teams in diagnosing issues during implementation.
  • Promote and justify development of generic/reusable solutions to ensure Client/opportunity-specific solutions are cost & schedule optimised.
  • Exploring and developing new approaches and innovative solutions to customer needs
  • Work closely with EDQ Development and Product Management to clarify client issues, contribute to feature requirement definition as needed and understand new features in depth prior to launch.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver technical training for regional consultants on usage of the product and new features.
  • Build proof of concept implementation, product extensions (in Java), and assist with UAT testing of new features.
  • Champion a culture that achieves the business goals, delights customers and keeps consumer advocacy at the heart of everything that Experian does.
  • Promote great service and seek to exceed client / consumer expectations.

What we’re looking for:

We’re proud to work in a creative and collaborative environment. So, if you’ve got experience with delivery data management solutions (MDM, Data Migration etc.), we want to hear from you.

Additionally, we’re interested in:

  • Proven Client-Solution Architect experience in a financial services or similar industry of mid-to-large sized organization
  • Proven ability to analyse, design, and optimise Client business processes via technology and integration
  • Experience of working with internal & external ‘C’-level managers in setting out Solution Architecture vision and/or value proposition

Experience with the below would also help you in the role but are not essential:

  • Formal architecture experience or qualifications such as TOGAF
  • Software development using git, Java and Gradle experience
  • Experience developing and delivering customer facing training
  • Rest API

What we’ll do for you:

At EDQ, we want to empower you to progress your career in a direction and pace that fits you. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your technical skillset and benefit from a supportive environment with mentoring and dedicated time with your line manager to support your customised progression plan.

On top of that EDQ can offer:

  • 25 days annual leave with the option to buy/sell a further 5 days, and a further 3 days volunteering days
  • Performance and business based bonuses, and generous pension contributions
  • A wide range of benefits including Annual Travel Ticket Loans, Bike4Work scheme, healthcare schemes, discounted retail opportunities and more!
  • Free weekly lunches and an endless supply of fruit, coffee, tea and fizzy drinks
  • Black tie Christmas ball, monthly socials and beers/ciders/soft drinks every Friday 4pm onwards
  • Bake sales and various ‘clubs’ (football, books, languages, board games…)
