We are looking for a talented Marketing Intern to join our Experian Consumer Services’ (ECS) CRM team. The CRM team is looking for a Marketing Intern who is a self-starter, extremely interested in consumer communications and understands the full scope of how a seasoned company thinks through actions prior to talking to a customer. The candidate will work closely with other team members including: Product Management, Copy, Design, Ecommerce, Consumer Insights, Analytics and CRM Operations teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally to lead, research, strategize, design, and deploy a “Monthly Reminder” CRM campaign (email, Push, SMS), where they’ll present to cross-functional stakeholders at the end of the internship term. Some programs they’ll naturally get exposure to during this process are: JIRA, Tableau, InVision, Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, LucidChart.
  • Conduct ongoing 1:1 conversations with different cross-functional teams in order to get a better understanding of how the pieces work together to create a holistic customer experience. Some teams they’ll be working with include, but are not limited to, are: CRM (Program Management & Operations), Analytics, Branding, Product Development, Mobile App Development, Direct to Consumer Marketing, Creative, Customer Care, Technology (Data Architecture, Development), Advertising, Consumer Insights/Research, Product Innovation.
  • Shadow and support the CRM Program team with time-based projects to better understand the inner-workings of customer communication within SMS, push, email, and customer care channels related to the varying areas of CRM responsibility (Lead Generation, Member Marketing, Content Marketing, Product Support, Feature Launches, Retention); develop summary sheets of learnings and key areas of opportunity upon completion of projects.

  • Personable and professional
Education
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Pursuing a Bachelors in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or Computer Science
