As a key member of our Bureau’s customer services team you’ll be responsible for all general Consumer support requests via all contact mediums including general enquiries, complaints, requests for consumer credit reports. This also encompasses new client on-boarding processes including application and due diligence through to complete client set-up. A key focus is to provide ongoing customer service support to all clients and consumers while ensuring compliance to regulations and company goals. This is an exciting entry level opportunity within a Global Enterprise business that offers copious amounts of development and progression for anyone eager to learn and grow.

To be successful you will have excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail and be able to organise and prioritise tasks. The ability to work in a small, well-formed and high performing team is also essential.

Unfortunately given the strong possibility of an extension temporary 417 visa holders will be ineligible for this fixed term contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence and analysis of applications and requests
• Handle incoming Client and Consumer contacts via phone, email and mail including general customer service, issues resolution and tier 1 tech support
• Obtain completed supporting documentation for Subscriber accounts
• Recommend potential clients for membership approval
• Maintain consumer credit databases and ensure that the daily qualitative and quantitative goals are met
• Perform credit profile database system maintenance
• Maintain records on customer activity and log transactions
• Educate potential and new external clients on permissible purpose, appropriate use and rules regarding the privilege of accessing credit reports and reporting credit information
• Provide support to internal and external customers 
 

Knowledge 

• Privacy Act rules and regulations and its practical application
• Understanding of data standards

Experience 

• Able to manage a variety of tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly to a wide range of customers and stakeholders
• Ideally 1-2 years’ experience working in a high volume customer service environment

Qualifications 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferable)
