Client Relationship & Implementation Specialist

This role applies advanced skills in area of specialization to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. Duties and tasks include forming and maintaining connections with business clients, resolving client issues with their employer’s products or services to build and maintain positive client relationships. Accountability includes building the project plan, coordinating the plan to completion, and evaluating the success for an on-time delivery. Works on multilayered problems using broad precedent, related practices, and general methods of the field to obtain results.

What you’ll be doing


  • Reviews and analyzes client business and operations including workflow, decision process, and business objectives. Meets with sales and client contacts to interpret client’s business and technical needs. Identifies products to meet client requirements. Develops business and functional specifications to reflect client business requirements
  • Develops and manages project plans from original concept through final implementation
  • May provide technical consultation and assists clients with the development and implementation of in-house software applications. May code and perform quality testing for new or existing program changes. Provides support and assists client in analyzing and resolving any systems problems
  • Oversees change control activities to implement client projects into production. Identifies and resolves systems problems prior to production implementation. Develops internal and external documentation for product implementation and production, including process flows and procedures
  • Diagnoses functional problems, determines corrective action and implements corrections with problem management framework. Facilitates cross-functional problem-solving teams to ensure product implementation adheres to project plan

Verifies that software programs or systems meet user requirements. Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests. May identify and resolve system problems in production

What your background looks like


  • Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree preferred
  • At least 8 years of previous client relationship experience in a business-to-business setting
  • At least 5 years of project management experience
  • A valid Project Management Professional Certification preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of PC/mainframe applications
