Business Development Manager, Decision Analytics

In this role, the Business Development Manager will manage some of Experian’s most strategic customers, as well as develop new lasting relationships in the market.

What you’ll need to bring to the party

  • Seasoned sales professional with a hunter mentality and proven track record of selling solutions to financial services industry clients
  • Good listening and communication skills – seeks to understand the clients’ needs while articulating Experian’s product value propositions
  • Fast learner with high energy level and a passion for sales 
  • Enjoys working in a fast-moving, matrix and dynamic environment
  • Drive, determination and the ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to build and sustain effective business relationships as well as develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, advocates and colleagues

What you’ll be doing 

  • Ability to identify new sales opportunities and confident in generating own leads through cold calling, blitzing, research, networking and driving assigned territories
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge and deep understanding of client’s business environment to have meaningful conversations with prospects
  • Map and establish professional and sustainable relationships with key personnel with prospect
  • Build a strong sales pipeline by establishing relationships with new customers and securing contracts with new customers to achieve assigned sales quota 
  • Identify and nurture opportunities with current clients to sell and cross-sell Experian’s products 
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closing the sales deals
  • Translate sales objectives into specific plans and targets as appropriate and developing and managing the sales pipeline
  • Pro-actively identify risks and make recommendation to mitigate these risks
  • Understand and adhere to specific regulatory obligations and company policies and procedures
  • Partner closely with the Marketing team to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Champion a high-performance culture that achieves the business goals, delights customers and keeps consumer advocacy at the heart of everything that Experian does
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders including technical delivery teams, product specialists, Finance, Legal, Compliance etc. 

More about you

  • Fluency in data, analytics, financial services and business process management
  • Proven ability to articulate complex propositions in terms of business value
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Proficient and experienced in B2B social media platforms
